No Vietnamese citizens have been reported among victims of explosions in Sri Lanka on April 21, according to the Vietnam Embassy in Sri Lanka.

Hanoi (VNA) – NoVietnamese citizens have been reported among victims of explosions in Sri Lankaon April 21, according to the Vietnam Embassy in Sri Lanka.

At the request of the Ministry ofForeign Affairs, the embassy has been working closely with local competentagencies to keep update on the situation and promptly carry out citizenprotection measures when necessary.

To seek support, Vietnamesecitizens are advised to contact the embassy via the hotline 94(11)269 6050(EXT. 101 or 110) or 84 981 848484.

A series of bombings targetingchurches and hotels hit Sri Lanka on Sunday Easter, leaving 185 dead andinjuring 469 others, Xinhua News Agency reported.-VNA
