The tourism week this year featured activities such as the “Golden Season of Tam Coc - Trang An” tour, introducing the beauty of ripened rice fields, and another showing tourists cultural items in the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex relating to the Tran Dynasty.

Some 173,000 people visited Ninh Binh during the tourism week, or more than double the number last year and including 30,000 foreigners.

Ninh Binh’s tourism sector hopes that such events will give visitors, especially foreigners, a more detailed look at the nature, culture, and people of the province. Ninh Binh is working to make Tam Coc - Trang An a “golden destination” during all four seasons in the eyes of tourists. The province has set a target of attracting 5.35 million visitors this year./.
