New party chief offers incense to Ho Chi Minh

Trong, who is also Chairman ofthe Vietnamese National Assembly, affirmed that the Vietnamesegenerations will forever preserve, defend, promote, and execute thePresident’s strategic thoughts as well as follow his moral and simpleand practical deeds.

The same day, Party General Secretary andNational Assembly Chairman Trong burnt incense at the Ho Chi MinhMemorial Site in commemoration of the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong.

Earlier,he made Tet visits to the former Party General Secretaries, the formerState Presidents, the former National Assembly Chairman, and General VoNguyen Giap.

He also visited doctors and nurses at the Central Military Hospital 108./.
