Nearly 150 volunteers, mostly students, will support delegates at 11th General Assembly of the World Technopolis Association (WTA), which will be held in the southern province of Binh Duong from October 10-12.
Binh Duong(VNA) – Nearly 150 volunteers, mostly students, will support delegates at 11thGeneral Assembly of the World Technopolis Association (WTA), which will be heldin the southern province of Binh Duong from October 10-12.
The volunteers were carefullychosen from 236 candidates who registered to serve at the event. They are madeup of students, officials, and lecturers from universities in Binh Duong andother localities.
They have been sent totraining courses to enhance their knowledge of smart cities, the 11th GeneralAssembly of the WTA, as well as landscapes of the province and hospitalityskills.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh,Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Youth Union, said that the event is a chance forlocal youngsters and members of the union to exchange with their peers fromother countries, thus improving their knowledge and experience.
This is also anopportunity for Binh Duong to promote its image as a dynamic and developinglocality, she added. –VNA
