National women's football team leaves for training in France
The national women's football team on June 27 departed for France for a short training session right before entering the 2022 AFF Women's Championship, which is expected to take place in the Philippines in early July.

Hanoi (VNA) – The national women's football team onJune 27 departed for France for a short training session right before enteringthe 2022 AFF Women's Championship, which is expected to take place in thePhilippines in early July.
Head coach Mai Duc Chung said he is satisfied with thetraining results of the whole team so far.
A total of 25 players are heading for the training in Franceand the AFF tournament. The group is scheduled to move to the Philippines onJuly 2.
The championship will run from July 4-17, with theparticipation of a record 11 teams.
The Vietnamese footballers are set meet their opponents fromMyanmar, Timor Leste, Laos and Cambodia in Group B.
Vietnam are current champions after defeating Thailand inthe finals of the AFF Cup 2019./.

The Vietnamese women’s football team will meet their opponents from Myanmar, Timor Leste, Laos and Cambodia in Group B of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship 2022, according to the results of a draw held on May 28.
Vietnam’s U-19 football team will be in Group A, together with Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei and the Philippines, at the AFF U-19 Youth Championship 2022, according the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. The outcome shows the trust and recognition that member states have given Vietnam for its efforts and achievements in carrying out and promoting the Convention, as well as for its active role, strong standing, and growing credibility at UNESCO.
