NA Standing Committee to convene 31st meeting on Feb. 21

The 14th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will hold its 31st meeting in Hanoi on February 21 to discuss several draft laws.

Hanoi (VNA) – The 14th NationalAssembly (NA) Standing Committee will hold its 31st meeting in Hanoi onFebruary 21 to discuss several draft laws.

According to the NA Office, the committee isscheduled to scrutinise some debatable issues of the draft law amending andsupplementing some articles of the Law on Public Investment, and the draftrevision of the Law on Tax Management.

These drafts had been discussed previously atthe parliament’s sixth session in late 2018.

The NA Standing Committee will listen to theGovernment’s report on the outcomes of the collection of public opinions on thedraft revised Law on Education.

They will also look into issues related to theVietnam National University-Hanoi project in the city’s Hoa Lac area.–VNA
