NA deputies agree on supervision programme for 2016

Deputies at the 13 th National Assembly’s 9 th session approved a resolution on the NA’s supervision programme for 2016 on June 18.

Before agreeing on the resolution, the deputies heard a report oncollecting and responding to deputies’ opinion on the document whiledebating the draft programme.

During the workingday, the deputies discussed the draft law on fees and charges, focusingon the definitions of charges and fees, the differentiations betweencharge and fee types and principles for application.

They also debated the regulations on exemptions and reductions of feesand charges, transparency and equality in the collection and managementof fees and charges and the authority and obligations of State agenciesin the management of fees and charges.

In theafternoon, the NA had a closed-door session on dismissing the NA deputystatus of Chau Thi Thu Nga, a representative from Hanoi.

On June 19, the deputies are set to approve the revised Laws onGovernment Organisation and Local Government Organisation. They willalso comment on a draft Law on Organisation of Criminal InvestigationBody.

In the afternoon of the same day, they arescheduled to pass the revised Law on Military Service, Law on Veterinaryand Law on Detainment and Custody.-VNA
