A musical evening of Russian songs will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on September 29. Conductor Tran Nhat Minh, who studied at Russia’s Magnitogorsk National Music Institute, together with leading soloists Cho Hea Ryoung, Khanh Ngoc, Thu Huong, Dao Mac and Trung Kien are expected to partake in the event.
Music lovers will have a chance to enjoy 11 Russian songs such as “In the deep forest”, “Volga River”, “Nightingale”, and “Afternoon in Moscow’s outskirts.”
Tickets are available at the city’s Student Support Centre and the Saigon Opera House. The music show, part of efforts to popularise academic art among the youth, will take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera.-VNA
