-Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 2 inspected major socio-economic infrastructure projects in the central province of Quang Binh.
The PM examined the Quang Trach Power Centre project, which has a total investment of about 100 trillion VND (3.92 billion USD) and comprises three component projects to build infrastructure system, 1,400MW Quang Trach 1 thermal power plant, and Quang Trach 2 LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) power plant.Read full story

-A delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence have held bilateral meetings with many officials of other countries and partners while attending the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore from May 31 to June 2.
Meeting with Permanent Secretary of the Singaporean Ministry of National Defence Chan Heng Kee, Deputy Minister of National Defence Sen. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien, who is also member of the Party Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, asked the two sides to promote the agreements reached since the two countries’ defence policy dialogue in 2023, and step up cooperation in personnel training, search and rescue, and digital transformation in military.Read full story

-The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on June 1 revealed investigation results of the cases at the Phuc Son Group JSC and Thuan An Group JSC.Speaking at the Government’s regular press conference, Maj.
