൩ –The Miss Sea Vietnam 2016, themed “Spreading Vietnamese beauty”, will honour not only the physical and intellectual beauty of Vietnamese women but also the grandeur of the nation’s seas and islands.

Director of the Quang Ninh province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ha Quang Long made the statement at a press conference held in Ha Long city on April 20.
The pageant, the first of its kind in Vietnam, is co-held by the Phuong Nam Design and Training Co., Ltd, the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province, and VTV News. Sixty outstanding competitors will compete in semi-finals slated for May 6-8 and the 40 most excellent will enter the final night on May 21, he said, adding that both rounds will be organised in Tuan Chau island tourism complex, Ha Long city.
Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 will receive a crown decorated with over 100 pearls and other precious gem stones valued at 1.5 billion VND (67,275 USD). In addition, the pageant will also name First and Second Runner-ups, Miss Talent, Miss Ao Dai, Miss Amity, Miss Tourism, Miss Photo, Miss Party Dress and Miss Beautiful Skin. Charitable events and social activities to improve ecological environment are also scheduled during the competition.-VNA
