Miss Ocean Vietnam Global to run in 2018

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has licenced Phuong Nam Design & Traning Joint Stock Company to host the 2018 Miss Ocean Vietnam Global.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry ofCulture, Sports and Tourism has licenced Phuong Nam Design & Traning JointStock Company to host the 2018 Miss Ocean Vietnam Global.

The beauty pagent is scheduled for to runfrom January 15 to April 22, with qualification rounds in Hanoi, Ho Chi MinhCity, the US, and Poland in January.

The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang willhost the semi-finals from April 1 to 5 and the finals from April 18 to 22.

The ministry ordered thecompany to issue documents for the establishment of the organising board andjudge panel. Results of the semi-finals must be submitted to the ministry threedays after announcement as well as profiles of finalists and a plan for thefinals 10 days ahead of the event.-VNA

🥂 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
