Malaysia to form int’l panel to investigate MH370

He hinted that international aviation andintelligence agencies will also be asked to join the panel that willalso review the status of Malaysia's aviation industry.

Whenquestioned about the flight simulator found at the home of MH370 CaptZaharie Ahmad Shah, he said the US Federal Bureau of Investigations(FBI) has found nothing sinister stored within it.

However, he withheld from making further comment on the matter until the findings were corroborated by the police.

On March 30, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced thatformer Chief of the Defense Force Air Marshal Angus Houston will lead anew Joint Agency Coordination Center (JACC) that will be based in Perthto coordinate the government's support for the search of the flight.

The JACC has been set up to ensure strong liaison among all therelevant stakeholders, including the families of the passengers. TheAustralian government has already announced that visa fees will bewaived for the affected families, Abbot said.-VNA
