L’Oreal supports female Vietnamese scientists

L’Oreal Vietnam on Feb. 1 said it will continue to provide scholarships to female Vietnamese scientists under the UNESCO-L'Oreal International Fellowships Programme for Young Women in Life Sciences in 2012.
L’Oreal Vietnam on Feb. 1 said it will continue to provide scholarshipsto female Vietnamese scientists under the UNESCO-L'OrealInternational Fellowships Programme for Young Women in Life Sciences in2012.

The programme started in Vietnam in2009. It aims to honour female scientists who made contributions toscientific development in Vietnam .

Launchedin 1998, the UNESCO-L’Oréal International Fellowships are designed toidentify and reward fifteen deserving, committed and talented youngwomen scientists, from all over the world, active in the field of lifesciences.

This year, the programme will select three best projects for the awards, with each worth 200 million VND.

Deadline for submitting projects will be available until May 31, 2012./.
