Hanoi (VNA) – The reports on theSupreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuracy’s performance during2016-2021, along with the leadership of the National Assembly (NA) and theNational Election Council are the parliament’s focus on March 30.

The NA will spend the morning of the fifthworking day of its ongoing 11th session to discuss the performance reports ofthe Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuracy. The discussion isbroadcast live on national television and radio.

After that, the NA Standing Committee is set tosubmit a proposal to relieve the Chair of the NA and the Chair of the NationalElection Council to the parliament. The proposal will be later discussed ingroups of deputies.

In the afternoon, legislators will vote on therevised law on drug prevention and control and listen to the NA StandingCommittee reporting on outcomes of the group discussion about the reliefproposal.

Following that, they will carry out theprocedures for relieving the Chair of the NA and the Chair of the NationalElection Council.

The NA Standing Committee will submit thecandidacy for the chairmanship of the legislature and the council, which willthen be considered in groups the same day./.
