Vientiane (VNA)𝔉 – The 20th ASEAN Finance Ministers’ Meeting (AFMM) kicked off in Vientiane, Laos on April 4.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lao Finance Minister Lien Thikeo said that the meeting takes place at an extremely important time as the ASEAN Community enters the first year of existence.
At the event, delegates heard the AFMM Chair’s reports on the implementation of initiatives related to infrastructure assistance, insurance, customs, terrorism and money laundering in the ASEAN financial cooperation channel.
