Vientiane (VNA) – Lao newspapers on June 30 devoted their front pagesfor articles highlighting the official friendly visit to Vietnam by Lao PartyGeneral Secretary and State President Thongloun Sisoulith from June 28-29.
All agreed that the visit was a great success andcontributed to intensifying and deepening the special relationship between Laosand Vietnam.
Major newspapers such as Pathet Lao of the Lao News Agency(KPL), Pasaxon (People), Vientiane Times, and Vientiane Mai published the fulltext of the Laos-Vietnam joint statement, and a series of stories featuring theLao leader’s trip as well as the bilateral relations.
