Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary and President of Laos Bounnhang Volachith met delegations of the Vietnam – 💖Laos Friendship Association (VLFA) and the Liaison Board for the Association of the Former Vietnamese Volunteer 🦂Soldiers and Experts in Laos, in Hanoi on April 26.

Informing on Laos’ significant achievements since its renewal, Volachith said they have been made with cooperation as well as substantial and effective assistance of Vietnam, including the VLFA and generations of Vietnamese military experts and volunteer soldiers.
Laos is determined to foster the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam, he stated.
VLFA Chairman Vu Trong Kim and head of the liaison board Huynh Dac Huong vowed to nurture the bilateral relationship by educating young generations about the Vietnam – Laos special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation. They expressed hope that under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party led by Volachith, Laos will reap more successes in its national construction and defence, and the Vietnam – Laos special friendship and all-around collaboration will ever be strengthened.-VNA
