Vientiane (VNA) – President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morals and lifestyle as well as the beauty of Vietnam and its ⛄peop♛le are once again featured through a symphony composed by Lao national artist Duangmyxay Lykaya.
The Vietnamese Cultural Centre in Laos held a ceremony on May 19 to receive the symphony, named “Ho Chi Minh - Mat troi soi sang muon doi” (President Ho Chi Minh - the sun enlightens life).
On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, Charge d’Affaires Hoang Xuan Hai said that numerous art works raving about President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnam-Lao special relations have been produced by Lao artists.
“Ho Chi Minh - Mat troi soi sang muon doi” given to the Vietnamese Cultural Centre on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s 126 th birthday has a great value, Hai noted, expressing his hope that a performance of the symphony will be delivered to the public soon.
At the event, musician Duangmyxay Lykaya highlighted that his musical works have been composed with respect for President Ho Chi Minh, a beloved friend of Laos.
Inspiration for the songs came from his visits to places where President Ho Chi Minh pursued his revolutionary career like Pac Bo cave and Nha Rong Wharf, he added.
Musician Duangmyxay Lykaya has composed a line-up of musical works praising President Ho Chi Minh such as “Hong Ha-Mekong” (Red River-Mekong River), “Bong sen do” (Red lotus), “Nho Chu tich Ho Chi Minh suot doi” (Remember President Ho Chi Minh) and “Nguoi bac cua chung ta” (Our uncle), which have been performed at significant events in both nations.-VNA
