Lam Dong tourism week to kick off this week

The third Tourism Golden Week of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong is scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 6 in Da Lat and Bao Loc cities and some districts, promising many interesting experiences for both locals and visitors.

Lam Dong (VNA) – The third Tourism Golden Week of the Central Hig🐟hlands province of Lam Dong is scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 6 in Da Lat and Bao Loc cities and some districtဣs, promising many interesting experiences for both locals and visitors.

Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the event is expected to stimulate travel demand to attract more tourists to Da Lat and Lam Dong at large, as well as enhance the quality of residents' cultural and spiritual life. A wide range of activities will be held within the framework of the event, including the Da Lat music night run, folk art performances, and a cultural space introducing the music and culture of local ethnic minority groups along with delicious dishes of Da Lat.
A nighttime train service offering food and music on old-style carriages is also available for visitors to the resort city on this occasion.
Ngoc said this year’s edition is expected to attract 400,000 visitors, adding that tourism firms will join in with promotional discounts and special tourism products. She added that the week also aims to strengthen the province's tourism competitiveness and foster tourism activities, thereby helping to develop the brand of Lam Dong as a safe, civilised and friendly destination./.
