Labour unions of Hanoi, Belarus city strengthen cooperation

Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi General Confederation of Labour and the Federationof Trade Unions of Minsk city (Belarus) have signed a memorandum ofunderstanding on cooperation for 2017-2021.
The signingceremony took place at a working session between the sides in Hanoi on April10.
At thesession, the two agencies discussed their respective performances and agreed toincrease joint work and experience exchanges.
On theoccasion, leaders of the local Friendship Cultural Palace and the Belarusian TradeUnions Culture Palace also inked a pact on supporting each other in organisingcultural activities.-VNA
Belarus will allow visa-free entry for citizens from 80 countries, including Vietnam, for visits of up to five days, according to a decree signed by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on January 9.
Vietnam and Belarus have enjoyed sound relations in the past two decades, said President of the Vietnam-Belarus Friendship Association Nguyen Thai Lai at a celebration of bilateral diplomatic ties.

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
