Vietnamese Consul General in Fukuoka Vu Chi Mai highlighted the growing demand for Vietnamese workers in Kyushu, especially in Fukuoka, Oita, and Saga prefectures. Currently, the region employs about 35,000 Vietnamese manual workers and over 5,000 IT engineers.

Since the beginning of July, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Japan’s Fukuoka prefecture has carried out a host of activities marking its decade of working to enhance Vietnam – Japan ties.
The Vietnamese State and Government support the enhancement of relations with Japan’s Kyushu region, and welcome businesses from the region and Fukuoka prefecture in particular to invest in Vietnam, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh said.
