Korea Game Week 2023 takes place in Da Nang

The first Korea Game Week 2023 took place in the central city of Da Nang from November 24-25, introducing the latest gaming technologies from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and its culture to people in the central region.

Da Nang (VNA)🍎 – The first Korea Game Week 2023 tookplace in the central city of Da Nang from November 24-25, introducing thelatest gaming technologies from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and its culture to people in the central region.

The event was co-organised by the RoK Embassy in Vietnam, theKorea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and Vietnam - Korea Universityof Information and Communication Technology. Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr Huynh Cong Phap,the university principal, said that visitors to the event can experience the RoK’sgaming technology and culture. It also brings opportunities for Koreanenterprises and Vietnamese training institutions to meet, exchange, and seekcooperation, particularly in human resources training for the gaming industry. The event featured activities including a game programming and designing contest, an e-sport competition, talks with popular gamers,streamers, and influencers, an exhibition of works submitted to the GameGraphic Design Contest, and an exhibition of the Korean game industry and Koreanculture space./.

♍ Vietnamese culture takes centre stage in Korean city

The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.

💛 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
