King and Queen of Thailand extend sympathy over flooding in central Vietnam
Thai King Maha Vajiralongorn and his Queen on October 26 sent a message of sympathy to Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong over the serious loss in human lives and assets caused by flooding and landslides in central Vietnam.

Hanoi (VNA) – Thai King Maha Vajiralongorn and his Queen on October 26 sent a message ofsympathy to Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong over theserious loss in human lives and assets caused by flooding and landslides incentral Vietnam.
The Thai royal couple expressed deep condolences to people in theflood-hit areas and families of officials and soldiers who died performingtheir duty.
They said they hope the natural disasters will soon end and Vietnam willbe able to overcome the aftermaths as early as possible.
Since October 6, downpours brought by storms Linfa and Nangka causedrecord flooding and serious landslides on a wide scale in the central region ofVietnam. As of October 25, the death toll during the disaster reached 130, with18 still missing. Some 7 million people have been affected.
Meanwhile, storms Saudel also landed in the region on October 25, to befollowed soon by storm Molave./.
State Counsellor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi has offered her sympathy to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on heavy losses of life and property from floods and landslides in the central region.
The Premier of the State Council of China, Li Keqiang on October 22 sent a message of sympathy to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc over the serious flooding in some provinces in central Vietnam that caused heavy losses on human lives and assets.
The US Government extended its deepest condolences to the Vietnamese Government and people as they mourn those who perished due to significant flooding in the central region caused by recent Tropical Storm Linfa.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym Tokayev, and President of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organisation Mahmoud Abbas sent messages of sympathy to Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong over serious flooding that caused human and material loss in the central region.
