The central coastal province of Khanh Hoa has asked the Ministry ofCulture, Sports and Tourism for hosting Miss Universe Vietnam in 2015.
Inthe province’s official dispatch on October 21, Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee Nguyen Chien Thang proposed the ministryallow the Hoan Vu Sai Gon Joint Stock Company to organise the beautycontest in Nha Trang city in 2015.
According to the chairman,Khanh Hoa has experience in hosting beauty contests such as MissUniverse 2008 and Miss Universe Vietnam 2008, adding that the provincehas a number of qualified facilities for performance and accommodationswhich ensure the success of the event in 2015.
In preparation forMiss Universe 2008, the province upgraded 5,000-seat auditorium,developed Cam Ranh airport into an international airport, built alighting system as well as improving the traffic system, tourismservices and security.-VNA
