Ho Chi Minh City (VNA)🧸 – Chairman of Tokyo-based Sanno Medical Centre Takagi Kuninorion December 8 called on Ho Chi Minh City authorities to support the openingof its healthcare centre in the city.

During his visit to the southern metropolis, Takagi, who is also chairman of the International University ofHealth and Welfare (IUHW), also introduces the potential and advantages of theuniversity in human resources training. The university offeredscholarships for Vietnamese medical students and trained medical workers forCho Ray Hospital - IUHW Health Evaluation and Promotion Centre (HECI). Vice Chairman of themunicipal People’s Committee Duong Anh Duc applauded the effective operation ofHECI which helps improve the quality of medical examination and treatmentservices for people in the city and neighbouring provinces. He welcomes the planfor the 100-bed high-quality healthcare centre of Sanno Medical Centre in thecity. The city also hopes toco-operate with the centre in developing high-quality medical human resources,Duc said./.
