Hanoi (VNA) – Kids Corporation, a pre-school education company inJapan, wants to enter Vietnamese market through franchising, targetinghigh-income families who are willing to pay more for their children to get the Japanese-style modern education.

According to Nihon Keizai Shimbun – a leading economic newspaper in Japan, thecompany will provide its franchise partner with business strategy, managementand education methods.

Its Vietnamese partner is a company operating in real estate and automobileimport which has not invested in education sector. The two sides will inkcontract in 2017 and work on procedures and construction with the aim ofputting their kindergarten into operation in July, 2018.

The first school, which will receive 100 children from 1-5 years old, will belocated in a high-end urban area in Hanoi.  

Kids Corporation currently owns 120 kindergartens in Japan and targets toincrease the number to 150 in 2018. The corporation also plans to expand itskindergarten network in Asia and Vietnam is expected to be a potentialdestination.-VNA
