| VNA (March 11, 2024) - Italian art enthusiasts in Hanoi will have the opportunity to admire magnificent and enduring mosaic artworks at the exhibition "Mosaico - Italian Code of a Timeless Art". The event was organized by Magister Art, the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam, and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Taking place from now until April 7 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, the exhibition brings to life the vibrant history and culture of Italy through mosaic art, a form of art with a history of over 4,000 years globally and over 2,000 years in the boot-shaped country. Through technology, the mosaics depicting Alexander the Great's battles in the capital of Rome, Pompeii, the royal courts and basilicas in the ancient city of Aquileia, Ravenna, etc., or the underwater archaeological sites in Baiae come to life, almost as if witnessing them firsthand. After April 7, the exhibition will come to other Asian countries such as China, Japan, and Singapore./. |
