A conference to share experience in implementing the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) within the framework of a justice and legal empowerment project in Vietnam funded by the European Union (EU) was held in the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho on May 13.

The Ministry of Justice and Standing Office of the Government's Human Rights Steering Committee held a consultation workshop in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on December 21 on the draft of the fourth country report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

The UN Human Rights Committee held a session on March 11-12 in Geneva, Switzerland to review Vietnam’s third national report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

The national report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) was the centre of discussion at a seminar held by the Justice Ministry in Ho Chi Minh City on July 17.
