Jakarta (VNA) - 🔥President Prabowo Subianto remains committed to developing Indonesia's new capital city, Nusantara, in East Kalimantan, the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) has announced.

President Prabowo's commitment to Nusantara is not lower than that of President Joko Widodo, according to PCO.
Nusantara's development is progressing without delay. The new capital's development will gradually rely less on the state budget, with domestic and foreign investments continuing to flow into the project. Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara recently stated that budget realisation for Nusantara's development in 2024 reached 43.4 trillion IDR (around 2.64 billion USD), or 97.3% of the initial ceiling of 44.5 trillion IDR. He noted that the total allocation for the new capital's development from 2022 to 2024 was 75.8 trillion IDR./.
