Jakarta (VNA) - Indonesia and the European Union (EU) have established a special desk to facilitate investment from EU countries in🌺 Indonesia, according to Indonesia's Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani.

The minister explained on June 16 that the desk is expected to simplify regulations and policies to reduce bureaucratic barriers, especially in terms of investment. “I believe with this EU Desk, more partnerships will be created in the future. We are ready to continue to establish and strengthen collaboration with the EU," Roeslani said, as cited by Indonesia's News Agency Antara.
The desk will serve as a service centre providing market intelligence, business licensing guidance, facilitating business cooperation, identifying potential investment projects, and harmonising regulatory policies between the two parties.
The cooperation will focus on future-oriented sectors that are relevant to the priority policies of Indonesia and Europe. This cooperation also confirms Indonesia's commitment to always being open to collaboration with various strategic partners. This step also reflects his side's commitment to expediting the completion of the Indonesia-EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (I-EU CEPA), which is expected to be finalised before the end of the year./.
