Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesian police have arrested three men suspected of being linked to Islamic State (IS).
According to Indonesian police spokesman Boy Rafli Amar, the suspects had planned a bomb attack during the fasting month of Ramadan in the world's most populous Muslim nation.
The men were arrested late on June 8 in Surabaya – the country's second-largest city; with bomb-making materials, guns and a suicide-bomb vest, he said, adding that their target was the police.
