The selection is a result of ongoing efforts by Vietnam’s Consulate General in Mumbai since July 2024 to foster connections between TAFI and the province. TAFI President Ajay Prakash highlighted the booming Indian tourism industry, which has seen record-breaking domestic and outbound travel despite slower international arrivals post-COVID-19. As a leading travel association in India, TAFI is committed to raising awareness among its members and encouraging responsible tourism practices among their clients.
Prakash praised Vietnam for its beauty and rising popularity among the Indian travelers but noted that Ninh Binh, though stunning, remains relatively unknown.
