Honda Vietnam to sponsor national football teams

Honda Vietnam will continue to be the official sponsor of Vietnam’s national football teams after signing a contract with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in Hanoi on April 24.

Hanoi (VNA) - Honda Vietnam will continue to be the official sponsorof Vietnam’s national football teams after signing a contract with the VietnamFootball Federation (VFF) in Hanoi on April 24.

Honda will support the national men’s and women’s teams and the U23 men’s squaduntil April, 2021.

Honda previously contributed to the development of football in the country from2013 to 2015.

As Honda Vietnam continues to be a main sponsor of Vietnam’s football, the VFFbelieves that more and more sponsors are ready to contribute to the success ofnational teams and develop their trademarks when travelling with Vietnamesefootball, said VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh.

Keisuke Tsuruzono, General Director of Honda Vietnam, said he hoped Honda wouldhelp Vietnamese national teams gain good results in international events.

Sony Electronics Vietnam has also signed a contract to sponsor the nationalfootball teams until March, 2021. - VNA
