Hoi An to host Light Festival for Lunar New Year celebration

Quang Nam (VNA) - Central coastal Quang Nam province's Hoi An City andThai-owned Index Living Mall will jointly organise the Light Festival to welcome2017, the Year of the Rooster.

The event will open on January 27 (Lunar NewYear Eve) and wrap up on February 5 at An Hoi Bridge, the Hoai River, KazikPark, Cau Pagoda, and other places.

Each light show is expected to last from sevento ten minutes, starting at 7pm., 8pm. and 9pm.

Nguyen Van Son, Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee, said the eventaims to attract tourists to the ancient town during Tet. –VNA
