Online media outlet Thrillist of the US has listed ancient Hoi An city among the most beautiful and cheapest beach cities in the world.

Hanoi (VNA)ಞ– Online media outlet Thrillist of the US has listed ancient Hoi An city amongthe most beautiful and cheapest beach cities in the world.

  The city, a UNESCO-recognisedWorld Heritage Site, came third on the list. Thrillist noted thatgood accommodation in the city could be rented for 300 USD a month or 500 USDfor higher end accommodation. Located in thecentral province of Quang Nam, Hoi An has many temples, pagodas and old houses.The ancient city was a leading trading port in Southeast Asia in the 17th and18th centuries.

The city’s HoaiRiver and its channels made the list of the 10 most famous canals in the worldon the US-based travel website touropia.com in 2014.

Hoi An was chosenfor the 2013 Townscape Award by the UN-Habitat Regional Office in Asia.-VNA

🍨 Da Nang fosters international cooperation to boost tourism

Nearly 100 domestic and foreign delegates, including leaders of the Da Nang city People's Committee and the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, along with ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic agencies in Vietnam and those from travel firms, gathered in the central coastal city of Da Nang on January 17 for a seminar on advancing tourism development through international cooperation.
