HCM City (VNA) - Yuan Guiren,visiting Vice Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the ChinesePeople's Political Consultative Conference hailed Ho Chi Minh City for fosteringexchanges with China during a meeting with Standing Vice Secretary of themunicipal Party Committee Tat Thanh Cang on August 27.
Yuan expressed hope that his visit wouldenhance ties between the two countries, and Chinese localities and Ho Chi MinhCity in particular.
The Chinese People's Political ConsultativeConference is always ready to share experience with the city’s departments andagencies, including the municipal chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF),towards boosting relations between the two countries, he said.
Cang, for his part, said Ho Chi Minh Cityand Vietnamese localities have promoted bilateral ties over the years via theexchange of visits to share experience, especially between the VFF’s municipalchapter and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
He believed the visit wouldpush ties between Ho Chi Minh City and Chinese localities forwards tocontribute more to the Vietnam – China comprehensive partnership.-VNA
A seminar was held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 28 to seek ways to further boost trade between Vietnam and China, including between HCM City and Shandong province, which are said to have great potential for stronger cooperation.

The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
