Ho Chi Minh City  (VNA) – Chairman of thePeople’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Van Mai on April 5 had a meetingwith Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Baloghdi Tibor.

Speaking at the meeting, the chairman affirmed thecity’s role and wish to contribute to further strengthening relationsbetween the two countries. He expressed his belief that the diplomat will act as a bridge tohelp Hungarian enterprises come and seek cooperation opportunities in potentialareas such as trade, health, education as well as cultural exchange.

Mai said with existing potential and strength, thecity is ready to connect Hungary to southern localities under the European country’s collaboration expansion plan.

HCM City continues to effectively work with theConsulate General of Hungary in southern metropolis in activitiestowards the celebration of the 75th anniversary of friendship betweenVietnam and Hungary.

🌃 For his part, the ambassador said he will do hisutmost during his tenure to support the two countries' businesses to seek forinvestment opportunities, while expressing his belief in the sound development ofthe two countries’ relations in all spheres./.
