Consumers are snapping up the specialty longan grown in the northern province of Hung Yen due to its distinctive fresh, delectable, and sweet flavour.

The high prices of raw materials have caused domestic steel companies to increase selling prices many times to compensate for production costs and reduce losses.

Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) in July rose by 0.18 percent month-on-month, and 2.44 percent from the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
