HCM City, Seoul boost medical tourism ties

HCM City (VNA) – A two-day event aimed at enhancing medical tourism cooperation between🦄 Ho Chi Minh City and Seoul of the Republic of Korea, was held on June 11–12.

Speaking at the event, titled “2025 Seoul Medical Tourism Roadshow,” Ham Kyung-jun, Director of Seoul’s Tourism Industry Department, highlighted the RoK capital’s world-class medical infrastructure and diverse tourism offerings. He noted that the roadshow presented an opportunity to promote Seoul’s image as a global medical tourism hub, particularly to potential partners and clients in HCM City.
The programme gathered a wide range of Seoul-based medical institutions and HCM City-based medical tourism companies who engaged in consultations, product demonstrations, and service trials for both B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) audiences in Vietnam. The event also featured a key seminar on Seoul’s medical tourism sector and a business networking session aimed at deepening partnerships between Korean and Vietnamese firms.
