Ho ChiMinh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted the eventwith the aim of highlighting the city’s river tourism.
Boatswere lit with different displays featuring Ho Chi Minh City’s mostpopular destinations such as Nha Rong Habour, Ben Thanh Market andSaigon Opera House.
A big floating state was erected on the Sai Gon River for artistic performances and modern laser lighting shows.
Addressing at the event, Nguyen Thi Hong, Vice Chairwoman of the HoChi Minh City People’s Committee, said the city wants to make rivertours a major feature in its tourism sector.
The show is part of activities to celebrate a decade of the International Travel Expo (ITE) in Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
