A week of Argentine cuisine and films is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City from December 3-9 to celebrate the 45th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Argentina.

HCMCity (VNA) - A week of Argentine cuisine and films is taking placein Ho Chi Minh City from December 3-9 to celebrate the 45th founding anniversaryof diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Argentina.

Theevent will promote the image and culture of Argentina to Vietnamese people.

Afilm programme will be held on December 3 and 4 at the International CulturalExchange with France (IDECAF), 31 Thai Van Lung street, district 1. All filmswill have English subtitles. Free tickets can be collected at the ArgentineEmbassy and the IDECAF.

Wild Tales, directed by Damian Szifron, is a blackcomedy consisting of six stories on the wild instincts and violence ofhumanity.

Actionmovie BraveTime, directed by Gabriel Nesci, tells of psychologist MarianoSilverstein and detective Alfredo Díaz who investigate a mysteriousdisappearance.

Youngeraudience members will also be entertained with some animated films. Underdogs,directed by Juan Jose Campanella, tells the story of true friendship and love.

Comedy MyFirst Wedding, directed by Ariel Winograd, is a story about JewishAdrian and Catholic Leonora who have finally reached their wedding day. Insteadof gracefully embracing matrimony, Adrian spends the hours leading up to theceremony trying to postpone it, because he clumsily lost both his and hisbride-to-be’s sacred wedding rings.

Theevent continues with cuisine at Chit Chat Restaurant, Equatorial Hotel, 242 TranBinh Trong street. Chef Alberto Curia will present Argentine cuisine withsparkling wine and tango in the evening.-VNA
