Hanoi to apply national vaccination management system
A national vaccination information management system will be applied at all vaccination facilities in Hanoi from April 1 in a bid to increase vaccination rates for under-one children in the city.

The municipalDepartment of Health organised training courses on how to use the system toimprove effectiveness of vaccination activities in the city before the system isput in operation. Hoang Duc Hanh, DeputyDirector of Hanoi’s Department of Health, said the deployment of the nationalvaccination information management system will benefit not only statemanagement agencies but also vaccination establishments and residents. Hanh added that the healthdepartment is piloting a new weekly timetable for vaccinations in Long Bien districtinstead of two days or two rounds every month as previously.
