Hanoi (VNA)ꦆ – Hanoi ranked 60th out of 63 provinces and cities in the Satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS) in March, with 58.5 out of 100 points, according to the evaluation results on the National Public Service Portal.

The Hanoi People’s Committee announced the ranking on April 21 and mapped out measures to improve service quality and address low-scoring criteria. Districts and townships are required to proactively review, update, and properly process administrative procedures by their deadlines. Civil servants must strictly adhere to the reception and processing of administrative procedures via the administrative procedures information system, ensuring compliance with regulations and publicising electronic results.
Additionally, the municipal People’s Committee emphasised the need to enhance communications and instructions for individuals and organisations on submitting applications online, aiming to increase the ratio of citizens and businesses effectively accessing and using online public services. The city’s administrative service centre is tasked with reviewing and updating information on administrative procedures and synchronising data between the city’s system and the National Public Service Portal. The city authority also asked for regular training for officials to improve their information technology capabilities.
The Office of the Hanoi People’s Committee will direct the Centre for Communication, Data, and Digital Technology to publicise the results on the city’s electronic portal in accordance with the Prime Minister’s instructions. These measures aim to enhance the quality of service for citizens and businesses, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of state agencies in the city./.
