Hanoi police hand over over Zhang Chuan Feng(in white) to China’s national police (anninhthudo.vn)
Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi Police on August 10 handed over Zhang Chuan Feng,from Shantou city, China’s Guangdong province, to China’s national police.
Zhang ChuanFeng was hunted by Guangdong police and the China Ministry of Public Securityin connection with the illegal production and distribution of registeredlabels.
The man gave himself up to the Hanoi Police on July 31.
The HanoiPolice promptly teamed up with the department for external affairs under the VietnameseMinistry of Public Security and other concerned units to conduct necessaryprocedures.
On August4, the Hanoi Police’s immigration management division imposed an administrativepenalty of 4 million VND (176 USD) on Zhang Chuan Feng for his illegal entryinto Vietnam. -VNA
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked ministries, departments, and localities to intensify national and international cooperation in the fight against crime, especially trans-national, hi-tech crime and crime with foreign elements involved.
