Hanoi (VNA)– Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung and a delegationfrom the capital city will pay a visit to the US.
The visit will help expand cooperation between Hanoi and many US states, Chung saidon June 22 when meeting US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius to discuss thevisit.
At the meeting, TedOsius affirmed that Chung’s visit will bring Hanoi a huge opportunity totranslate some innovative ideas into reality.
Hanoi will getactive support from US specialists in developing smart city and other projectsin healthcare and education, according to Osius.
Chung thanked Osiusfor his support, saying he hopes the visit will deepen the friendship betweenthe two sides. -VNA
