Hanoi: Lunar New Year’s Eve fireworks planned for 30 venues

Fireworks will light up the capital city of Hanoi’s sky on the Lunar New Year’s Eve (February 7) at 30 display venues, local authorities recently announced.

Hanoi (VNA) - Fireworks will lig⛄ht up the capital city of Hanoi’s sky on the Lunar New Year’s Eve (February 7) at 30 display venues, local authorities recently announced.

General Director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism To Van Dong said funds for the fireworks show have come from the public. Accordingly, spectators can witness high altitude fireworks from 6 venues, including Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Nguyen Hoang Ton flower garden (Tay Ho district), Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong district), My Dinh National Statium(Nam Tu Liem district), Son Tay ancient town (Son Tay town) and other low altitude fireworks shows from other venues. On the occasion, numerous cultural and arts performances will also be held across the city.-VNA
