Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi wants tobolster cooperation with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DRPK) in variousfields, especially education, an official of the capital city has said.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s CommitteeNgo Van Quy expressed the wish while receiving a delegation of the DPRK-VietnamFriendship Association led by its Vice Chairwoman Ri Kang-juk in Hanoi on March26.

Quy affirmed that people of Vietnam andHanoi in particular always treasure the friendship of the two countries. Hespoke highly of activities of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Association over the pasttime, which contribute to the bilateral relations.

For her part, Ri Kang-juk said the visit ofthe DPRK delegation aims to consolidate and foster the traditional bilateral cooperationtowards the 70th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2020.-VNA
