Pham Quang Nghi, Party Politburo member and Secretary of the HanoiParty Committee, called for greater efforts to be made to controlinflation, stabilise the macro-economy and ensure social security afterhighlighting that 2011 is the first year to realise the resolution ofthe Party Congress, the year of legislative and people’s councilelections.
