Hanoi (VNA) – Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dao Duc Toan onOctober 19 hosted a reception for Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam Juan CarlosValle Raleigh ahead of his upcoming visit to several Latin American countries,including Argentina.

The visit carries a message that Vietnam wants to become a friend of allcountries worldwide, Toan said, noting that during its development process,Vietnam attaches importance to expanding cooperation with other nations andalways highly values its fruitful relations with Argentina.

He called on the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam to coordinate with Hanoi inorganising activities celebrating the 45th anniversary of diplomaticties between Vietnam and Argentina in 2018, especially cultural activities tointensify mutual understanding between their people.

Applauding the upcoming visit by Toan and other Hanoi officials, Ambassador J.Raleigh said exchange activities between Argentina and Vietnam in general andHanoi in particular are significant to tightening their solidarity andbilateral cooperation.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina and the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam alwaysclosely coordinate with each other, contributing to making the visit a success,the diplomat said. 

He lauded support of the Hanoi Party Committee over the past time and expressedhis belief that there would be more attractive cultural activities in Hanoi tomark the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.-VNA
