Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of representatives of some departments, sectorsand districts of Hanoi led by Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s CouncilPhung Thi Hong Ha is making a working visit to Laos from April 20-24.
The tripaims to strengthen coordination with the People's Council of Vientiane in exchangingand sharing their experience in building legal documents and making decisionson important issues; and improving thequality and effectiveness of the activities of monitoring, questioning, andaccounting in accordance with functions, tasks, and authority of the People'sCouncil.
It is also to enhance coordination between Hanoi and Vientiane in organisingactivities to promote and connect the consumption of products, and to expandcooperation of social security.

Ha said that over the recent years, Hanoi has always paid attention to promotingcooperation in all fields with Vientiane, for the strong development of bothcapitals, contributing to preserving and further promoting the specialtraditional friendship between the two Parties and States, and their peoples.
The cooperation between Hanoi and Vientiane is suitable for the conditions ofboth sides for mutual benefits, she added.
